UNIVERSITY
OF PARDUBICE
University of Pardubice is a public multidisciplinary university
building on more than 73-year-long tradition, which has 7 faculties, offering more than 200 bachelor, master and doctoral study programmes focused on natural, technical, social and economic sciences, arts and health studies. University has almost 7000 students, more than 700 academic and research staff members and 500 other employees. Each year the University welcomes more than 500 international students from all over the world.
The University of Pardubice has an excellent management system. Research support office covers R&I, educational and development activities, works with all types of funds and programmes, supports the knowledge transfer and IPR issues. Perfect research teams with big potential in fields of Health sciences, Information Sciences, Graphic Arts and Photophysics, Radar Systems, Navigation Systems and Signal Processing Technics and Material Sciences.

Ss. CYRIL AND METHODIUS UNIVERSITY IN SKOPJE
Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje is the largest state-funded university
in Northern Macedonia from 1949 till now representing 23 faculties, 5 research institutes and 12 accompanying members. Units of the University involved in teaching and research and development offering a wide spectrum of local knowledge and contacts throughout the country, which can be used for reaching the beneficiaries with information, advice and tailored assistance, and for eliciting wide support and feedback to and participation in EU initiatives. At the same time, the University is the main research performer in the country, and it brings with itself vast expertise from participation in international projects. The academic staff manages and participates in scientific and research projects within the EU programs, as well as in projects from the Instrument for Pre-Accession (IPA) and bilateral agreements.
Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje also possesses considerable experience in applied research and technology transfer cooperation with the local business community.

ZHYTOMYR POLYTECHNIC STATE UNIVERSITY
Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University is one of the progressive and leading universities in the Northern Ukraine region.
It has leading positions in different national ranking lists among other educational institutions. It was founded in 1920, now awarded by ISO 9001:2015. Today 9 000 students are studying at the university. There are 51 bachelors, 35 master, 13 doctoral and 9 post-doctorate programmes provided at 6 faculties. Students are involved in activities related to hard and soft skills development, forming the most tech-innovative community of 50 thousand graduates from 30 countries; provide co-research for entrepreneurship development, with IT and producing clusters, form as well as local and global competitive landscape in economy and society. ZPSU paid special attention for modernisation, digitalisation, innovation fulfilment, modern educational, scientific results, and practical approaches implementation into all spheres of university activities. OF LAPLAND
University of Lapland, founded in 1979, is located at the Arctic Circle in Rovaniemi in North Finland.
University is the northernmost university in the EU. It has 4 faculties and 3 multidisciplinary research institutes. The university has 5 000 under- and postgraduate students and 6 400 students in adult education. The university’s key research area
is Arctic and Northern research, approached from the perspectives of people, society and the environment, as well as art, design and media. Research topics cover the entire northern circle of life, including studies on Arctic indigenous peoples, wellbeing and social change, law, democracy and politics, the impact of global changes, such as global
warming, on Arctic and northern communities. University of Lapland is a NUTS-3 region that is actively using EU Cohesion funds, funding priorities are linked to Lapland Smart Specialisation Strategy.

Umeå University was founded in 1965 and is Sweden’s fifth oldest university.

study and research and meet the challenges of an ever-increasing global society. Umeå University is one of Sweden’s most comprehensive universities within all areas of scientific research. This research takes place on a broad scale in order to compete in the international arena. The university conducts groundbreaking research within several areas, e.g. Biogeochemistry, Ecosystem Dynamics, Energy, Infections, Plant and Forest Biotechnology and Social Welfare Research.
